Debbie Greenwood and Paul Coia

So far Debbie  has had a very varied TV career, cutting her teeth at Granada TV and moving as a young presenter straight onto the BBC  Breakfast Time sofa entering the world of Current Affairs where she interviewed politicians like Margaret Thatcher and movie stars such as Tom Hanks.

Debbie has worked in roles as diverse as Consumer Journalist on the Channel 4 Daily, through lifestyle programming on the BBC’s Garden party. Quizzes like First Class for the BBC and Spellbound on Sky show her versatility .

With her  husband, Paul Coia, Debbie launched TV Travel Shop, the first Shopping Channel for holidays.  She spent 12 years at QVC where she was successful in product areas as diverse as Fashion, Gardening, and Technology. Her  approach to sales is low key  “over the garden fence”  and is very effective.

Debbie’s radio career has been varied too and began on  Radio 2 as Gloira Hunniford’s deputy, handling a variety of celebrity guests.  With her sparring partner and husband ,Paul Coia, Debbie hosted the late night show on the channel before co-hosting The Weekend Breakfast Show on LBC.  Debbie also acts  as newspaper reviewer on many radio stations.

Over the years she has guested  on shows like Through the Keyhole, Wogan, Blankety Blank, Wheel of Fortune.
Her voiceover style is warm and friendly. You may have heard her  commercials for Sainsbury’s, Green Flag, Onken Yoghurt, Norwich Union, and Southwest Trains amongst others.

In the corporate fireld she has hosted many events for company’s like IBM, HFC, Oracle, Gala Bingo Clubs, Booker Foods, ABI Caravans, Martin Retail Group.
Debbie has made more training films and videos than you could shake a stick at including working for companies such as Boots, Comet, Johnson and Johnson, Unilever, Toshiba, Bras Direct, Royal Bank of Scotland, TSB, Mothercare, Hitachi and Kraft General Foods

Debbie studied in Liverpool, Toulouse, Nice, Hannover and Berlin and has an Honours Degree in French and German, Italian GCSE and Portuguese A level.
